Manchester United are closing in on a deal for Juventus star Mario Mandzukic after agreeing personal terms  on a three-year deal at Old Trafford  which will see him take home £6.2m per season, according to the Daily Mail
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to do a major overhaul of their front line before the transfer window slams shut on Thursday as Romelu Lukaku pushes for the exit doors. Solskjaer is looking at Mandzukic as a possible replacement for the Belgian.

Calciomercato reported last week that Manchester United are in talks with Juventus and it appears the negotiations was successful as Daily Mail now reports that the deal for Mandzukic is almost done after personal terms was agreed with the player.
United have been negotiating a swap deal involving Lukaku and Paulo Dybala with Juventus but no deal has been agreed. If that falls through, Juve may offer Mandzukic in exchange for Lukaku.
Whichever happens, the Croatian international bent on leaving for Old Trafford this summer and he could serve as Lukaku’s replacement if the Frenchman forces through a move.

Mandzukic has been a very effective striker over the years having enjoyed spells at Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Juventus so he has vast experience in his feathers which could help the United squad regain their quality if he completes this proposed move before Thursday’s deadline.
Since joining Juventus, the Croatian has scored 31 goals in 118 appearances.
